I may be bias, but one thing I do know for sure is planning a wedding takes A LOT of time, and that’s even after having done it over 100 times and being well connected in the industry.

My little black book of the best photographers, caterers, DJs and make-up artists (to name a few) will save you hours of time trawling through google to find the right supplier for you. Orange Tree Weddings has a variety of planning packages, so that you do have the option to do some planning yourselves, but gain valuable advice in an online planning session, or book some of your suppliers, but leave the rest to us with partial planning. Flexibility is key!

Once you’re happy to go ahead, we’ll send an invoice for the deposit and or T&C’s. We take a £500 deposit to secure your date. Then 50% of your quote 6 months prior to your date, and the remainder 4 weeks before! We are open to monthly payment plans too, just ask! Once the deposit is paid, your date is booked, and we are ready to move onto the fun stuff!

Wedding planning starts from the day you decide to get hitched! It’s about design concept, booking, planning and taking care of all the logistics. It includes managing a budget, liaising with suppliers and venues. It’s as much or as little as you want us to help with, from recommending outfit designers & DJ’s, to booking your transport and cake tastings! See it as handing over all the logistics and organising to a wedding guru who is there to take on the fiddly stuff and breeze you through planning process!
On the day co-ordination, we can offer as an addition to your planning or styling, or on it’s own. It is often a lot more appealing to have someone there on the day who knows you and has been involved in your journey in the run up to the day. A lot of venues will come with a co-ordinator, but there’s a chance you won’t even meet them until the morning of the event! Venue coordinators deal with venue operations (venue staff, kitchen, etc) and there is no guarantee that the venue coordinator assigned that day will be the same person you have been dealing with before your wedding. Your hired planner/coordinator knows your wedding inside-out as they have helped with making the wedding schedule watertight, meaning they will run the day for you without the need of disturbing or consulting you on your wedding day. We will oversee and take control of every detail on the day. From finishing off last minute touches to the décor and placing flowers, to making sure suppliers arrive on time and know what to do. We’ll guide guests in the right direction and even top up drinks. Time to cut the cake? We have the knife ready! Strap broke on your frock? Let me grab a safety pin! You’ll hand over everything to us in a detailed meeting ahead of the big day, and you won’t have to worry about a thing.
